Water Wheel was formed in 2003 by a group of ex-CARE International engineers.
Water Wheel specialises in design and construction and rehabilitation work in the general construction, water and sewage sectors. We also supply white and grey cement and ready mix concrete from our own modern batch plants.
Our team is made up of experienced managerial staff, engineers and technicians from a variety of disciplines including: architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, concrete and quality control who have worked together since 1998.
While working for CARE our staff members had direct responsibility for the design, construction/rehabilitation of hospitals and primary health care centers, the construction and rehabilitation of water and sewerage installations, the replacement of potable water networks and the construction of sewage piping systems and grey water evacuation channels.
Since 1998, Water Wheel has completed 147 projects in the Water and General Construction Sectors in 12 Governorates as detailed below.
Since 2003, the company has engaged in more than 20 projects in 8 Governorates with a gross net worth exceeding $50 million.
We have completed projects for the Iraqi Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works, Ministry Of Health, Ministry of Water Resources as well as international companies and organizations such as the UN-Food and Agriculture Organization, Fluor-Emec Inc and Weston Solutions Company.
